Toe Wrestling gained steam in the 1970′s in the United Kingdom.
They now have an actual World Championship every year. It’s apparently that popular.
The rules are just what you think they would be, remember those toe fights you had with your siblings? Well, to be a professional toe wrestler, you would basically just do what you used to do when you were little. Players must take off their shoes and socks, as the game is played bare feet, obviously. Players must link toes and each players feet must touch flat on the other person’s feet. The battle normally starts out with a chant, like “one, two, three, four, I declare a toe war.” (I’m not kidding)
To win, you have to pin your opponent. Pinning is accomplished by pinning down the foot of your opponent under your same foot, so right foot pins right foot, for three seconds. Seems pretty easy right?
