Guinness World Record intend to travel in Nepal to Mr. Dangi’s village to officially measure him. Mr. dangi said he aged 72 and measure 56 centimeters ( 22 inches) tall.

Guinness World Records would like to confirm that it is in conversation with Chandra Bahadur Dangi after he approached us with regard to the world’s shortest man title.
The current holder for the world’s shortest man – living is Junrey Balawing (Philippines, born 12 June 1993)who measures 59.93 cm (23.5 in) tall, while the shortest woman title is currently held by Jyoti Amge (Nagpur, India, born 16 Dec 1993) who measures just 62.8 cm tall (24.7 in).
