4000 children in south Korea have build, using 500,00 colored bricks, the world’s tallest Lego tower.

The World’s tallest Lego tower has been erected in Seoul, South Korea, built by 4,000 children, using 500,000 bricks and measuring a dizzying 31.9 metres (105ft) high.

After it was finished and assembled, Prince Frederik – on a six-day state visit to South Korea – was hoisted up on a crane to lay the final brick.

The very first Lego tower was built in London in 1988, standing at just under 50 feet.

Since then the record has been toppled more than 30 times.

The chocolate pyramid was created by corporate chef Francois Mellet and weighs 18,239.5 lb. The sculpture is set up at the Qzina Institute of Chocolate & Pastry.

The Qzina Institute of Chocolate & Pastry made the delicious temple to celebrate its 30th anniversary – choosing the Mayan theme because of the crucial role the culture played in the origins of chocolate.

Richard Foley, founder and CEO of Qzina, said: ‘Breaking a Guinness World Record for building the largest chocolate sculpture will be Qzina’s greatest masterpiece yet.

‘We studied Mayan pyramids at great lengths to create an exact replica of the Temple Kukulcan at Chichen Itza to honor the original chocolatiers.

Some fishermen from China have caught an incredible giant fish in the northeast Heilongjiang Province. The monster sized fish is a Kaluga and weighs 617 kg.

The Kaluga is a large predatory sturgeon only found in the Heilongjiang River basin. Chen Lin, the fisherman who caught the fish said it was the biggest he had ever seen. Chen, along with fellow fishermen, sent the fish to a local sturgeon breeding station.

Kaluga fish are believed to have existed for 130 million years and are claimed to be the largest freshwater fish in the world. The fish is listed as critically endangered, having been fished to near extinction for its valuable roe.

A paralysed woman was able to raise a bottle for the first time in 15 years after she uses her thoughts to control a robotic arm.

A 58-year-old woman paralyzed by a stroke was all smiles after sipping her cinnamon latte with the help of a mind-controlled robotic arm.

Hutchinson, who has been unable to move or speak for 15 years, had the 96-channel sensor implanted in her brain’s motor cortex in 2005. Since then, the BrainGate team has been fine-tuning the system to give her back some of the control she lost.

“It’s like learning a language,” Donoghue said of the translation process, a series of mathematical calculations that copy the brain’s processing ability. “As we understand more and more about the brain, we’ll be able to copy more and more.”

“To make a paralyzed person’s muscles move, you can stimulate them with an electrical wire,” Donoghue said. “Instead of controlling something outside of body, you could connect BrainGate to the muscles.”

Guinness World Record has declared Tao Porchon-Lynch , a 93 year old woman, the oldest yoga teacher in the world.

She’s 93 years old, but that isn’t keeping Tao Porchon-Lynch from striking a perfect pose. The yoga instructor and dance competitor is vibrant as ever and proves that age really is just a number.

“I’m going to teach yoga until I can’t breathe anymore then I’ll just fly away to the next planet … I just, I love yoga, it brightens my day and makes everybody smile,” Porchon-Lynch said.

“My doctor when he did the hip replacement said you won’t be able to do this, you won’t be able to do that. I said I don’t want to know what I won’t be able to do because I don’t believe it.

“So I sent him a photograph in lotus lifting off the ground and he called me the miracle woman. I said it’s no miracle, a miracle means only to see that which is inside of you. If it’s inside, I can do it.”

The Red Bull athlete caught an estimated 40 ft wave off the Oregon coast of Nellscott Reef after three years of preparation and designing a specialized boat.

The current largest wave surfed on a surf board was estimated at 77 feet off the coast of Southern California in 2008 by Mike Parsons, according to the Guinness World Records

Though if looking to reclaim his waterfall record, the latest stretch to now overcome is 186 ft at Palouse Falls in Washington, set by Tyler Bradt in 2009 – roughly 88 feet more than Mr Berman’s descent at Johnston Canyon in Alberta Canada.
